This 2-seater sofa, with its soft stripes and border of red tassels, is sure to charm anyone who steps into your sitting room. In addition to their wonderfully original patterns, no two will ever be identical as they are completely handmade from scratch, from the frames that are crafted from traceable timber, to the cotton dhurrie upholstery that's handwoven and hand-dyed using eco-friendly pigments. Even the embellishments are hand applied; if you'd rather keep the look of the room a bit more muted, the tassels can be removed or reattached with ease. They reminded us of the traditional hats worn in the Andes mountains and also inspired the name of this delightful sofa. Tarma is a city in the Peruvian highlands. The soft stripe of this version is hand printed which results in characterful imperfections.
